The Case of the Canine Capers

A Madison Steele Mystery

by Audrey Hanagan

Picture

Maddie Steele is excited to watch her aunt’s border collie, Chance, compete in the upcoming Vancouver Canine Fanciers Dog Show. But before the competition even begins, someone releases hundreds of dogs from their kennels to run freely through the venue, and Aunt Dee pleads with Maddie and her friends to find the culprit. When the sabotage becomes more and more dangerous and the agility trial is turned into a perilous obstacle course, Maddie worries she’s running out of time.

With the help of her friends Kris and Jamie, Maddie must save the dog show . . . before it’s too late.

About the Author

Growing up in a small mid-western town, AUDREY HANAGAN spent her summers playing solitaire and riding her bike to the library to find stories that would capture her imagination. Those books inspired her to join the army, go to college, run a marathon, hike the Grand Canyon, jump out of perfectly good airplanes, and travel the world.
Audrey currently lives in Vancouver, Canada, with her partner of thirty-two years and their two adopted shelter dogs, Sadie and Athena. Her latest goal is to visit U.S. National Parks to complete her stamp collection
